Mobile Surgical Sedation System HUCKdesign℠, MPR’s in-house industrial design team, provided comprehensive industrial design capabilities for the development of a mobile surgical sedation system for a company specializing in pain management systems. HUCKdesign℠ supported the development of the device by designing the specialized enclosure system, which supports oxygen tanks and reagent containers, and also houses blending manifolds and control electronics. In addition, device usability was improved through the development of a custom Graphical User Interface to manage conscious sedation. Services performed included industrial design planning, development of detailed CAD files, and supervision of prototype fabrication, while concurrently collaborating with engineering staff to reduce the product’s time to market. |
